North Carolina High School Volleyball - Forbush over Elkin

August 15, 2023: East Bend, NC 27018

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Falcons battle the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 17. Forbush will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC).

With the loss, Elkin drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Buckin' elks travel to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 17. The Blackhawks come into the contest with a record of 0-2. West Wilkes lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Watauga (Boone, NC)
