The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) and the host Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC), saw Forbush's volleyball squad beat Starmount by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Forbush upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC) to play the Blackhawks in a Foothills 2A bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 5-8. West Wilkes lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)

The Rams now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to North Stokes for a Northwest 1A bout on Tuesday, September 26.
