The Viera Hawks volleyball squad (Viera, FL), was defeated 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL)

With the win, Merritt Island improves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Central (Fort Pierce, FL) to encounter the Cobras in a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. The Cobras go into the battle with a record of 12-3.

The Hawks now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spruce Creek for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 1.
