North Carolina High School Volleyball - Christ the King can't hold off Bradford Prep

In Thursday's league match, the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

The Bears now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Queen's Grant for a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. Bradford Prep will clash with a Stallions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Central Academy of Technology & Arts (Monroe, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, Christ the King drops to 8-9 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Cardinals in a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A contest on Tuesday, September 30. The Cardinals enter the contest with a record of 5-8. Corvian Community lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC)
