September 26, 2023: Murrysville, PA 15668 Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA), 6-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL AAA 4 challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Plum will attempt to move on its 11-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 1-1 league Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).
The Panthers now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Penn-Trafford for a WPIAL AAA 4 challenge on Thursday, September 28. Franklin Regional will confront a Warriors team coming off a 0-0 league Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
