Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Plum nudges Greater Latrobe
September 7, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15239 Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) in a WPIAL AAA 4 challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Plum will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA).
The Wildcats now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host McKeesport for a WPIAL AAA 4 challenge on Tuesday, September 12.
