September 26, 2024: Braidwood, IL 60408 The Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) volleyball held off the host Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 2-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Lions now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Elmwood Park for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 28. Lisle will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Reed-Custer drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Streator (Streator, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a bout on Thursday, October 3. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 14-9.
