Texas High School Football - Crandall tops Corsicana

September 26, 2025: Crandall, TX 75114

The Crandall Pirates football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Corsicana Tigers to 30 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kaufman for a 5A-2 Region II District 6 test on Friday, October 10. Crandall will face a Lions team coming off a 56-14 league loss to Terrell (Terrell, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.

The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Poteet (Mesquite, TX). The Pirates go into the 5A-2 Region II District 6 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Poteet toppled Greenville (Greenville, TX), 55-35, in a league challenge.
