DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ), 26-14 in a non-league match.

The Spartans (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ). The Ironmen come into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Don Bosco Prep defeated Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ), 14-9, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Paladins confront the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 3. Paramus Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 4-1 record after their 35-21 non-league win over Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ).
