Nebraska High School Football - Johnson County Central prevails Freeman

September 26, 2025: Adams, NE 68301

In Friday's league match, the visiting Johnson County Central Thunderbirds football squad scored a good 44-22 triumph over the Freeman Falcons.

The Thunderbirds (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Omaha Christian (Omaha, NE). The Guardians come into the D1 District 1 (8 Man) challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Omaha Christian went down by Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE), 59-14, in a league test.

With the defeat, Freeman drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE) to meet the Eagles in a D1 District 1 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 3. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-2. Johnson-Brock lost 24-12 in their recent non-league test against Elmwood-Murdock (Murdock, NE)
