The South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) football knocked off the visiting Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 41-13 in Friday's league outing.

The Sabres now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palisades for a 4A South Meck outing on Friday, October 4. South Mecklenburg will clash with a Pumas squad coming off a 20-15 league win over Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas record now stands at 4-2.
