The Ardrey Kell Knights football squad scored 23 points and limited the host South Mecklenburg Sabres to 20 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olympic for a 4A South Meck test on Friday, October 25. Ardrey Kell will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 33-30 league win over Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, South Mecklenburg drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Sabres host Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Wolves in a 4A South Meck test on Friday, October 25. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 0-8. Ballantyne Ridge lost 48-0 in their recent league test against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)
