Pennsylvania High School Football - Pottsville defeats Lehighton

September 27, 2024: Pottsville, PA 17901

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) and the visiting Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA), witnessed Pottsville's football squad topple Lehighton by a tally of 21-3.

The Crimson Tide (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Tigers enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - A contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Northwestern Lehigh thwarted North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA), 49-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Indians confront the Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A contest, on Friday, October 4. Lehighton will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 63-13 league win over Palisades (Kintnersville, PA).
