In Friday's league match, the visiting Pottsville Crimson Tide football squad scored a good 28-14 victory over the Blue Mountain Eagles.

The Crimson Tide (5-4) will now prepare for their match against North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, North Schuylkill thwarted Lehighton (Lehighton, PA), 58-21, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A match, on Friday, October 25. Blue Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Blue Raiders enter the match with a 6-3 record after their 51-0 league loss to Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA).
