In Friday's league game, the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) football team triumphed over the visiting Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA), by a tally of 35-0.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A game, on Friday, October 11. Northwestern Lehigh will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Olympians enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 39-0 non-league win over Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA).
