The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers walloped the host Bangor Slaters football team by a score of 55-7 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A challenge, on Friday, September 13. Northwestern Lehigh will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 49-0 league win over Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA).

The Slaters (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pottsville (Pottsville, PA). The Crimson Tide enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - A challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Pottsville was ripped by Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA), 24-21, in a league challenge.
