Pennsylvania High School Football - Northwestern Lehigh wallops Tamaqua

October 18, 2024: Tamaqua, PA 18252

The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers football squad scored 51 points and limited the host Tamaqua Blue Raiders to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southern Lehigh for a Colonial-Schuylkill - A test on Friday, October 25. Northwestern Lehigh will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 51-25 non-league win over Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-1.

With the defeat, Tamaqua drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Blue raiders host Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA) to meet the Eagles in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A test on Friday, October 25. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-3. Blue Mountain lost 28-14 in their recent league test against Pottsville (Pottsville, PA)
