September 27, 2024: Utqiagvik, AK 99723 Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Service improves its record to 14-13 on the season. The Cougars travel to Soldotna (Soldotna, AK) to face the Stars in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Stars go into the test with a record of 10-7. Soldotna won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Nikiski (Nikiski, AK)
The Whalers now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Anchorage for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. Barrow will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Service (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-6.
