Texas High School Volleyball - Henderson can't get by Carthage
September 27, 2024: Carthage, TX 75633 The Carthage Bulldogs edged the visiting Henderson Lions volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Friday's league game.
Next up, the Bulldogs face the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 game, on Tuesday, October 1. Carthage will attempt to advance on its 19-12 season record. The Buckeyes go into the game with a 15-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Kilgore (Kilgore, TX).
The Lions (19-7) will now prepare for their game against Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX). The Knights go into the 4A Region II District 16 game with a 12-11 record. In their last game, Cumberland Academy was edged by Pine Tree (Longview, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
