Bees Battle to 2–2 Draw at Avon
Avon, OH — The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees fought through a physical, hard-nosed match to earn a 2–2 tie with the Avon Eagles on the road tonight. The result moves the Bees’ record to 7-1-2 on the season.
The Bees struck first when Luka Zivkovic curled in a corner kick early in the game to make it 1–0. Avon responded with two goals before halftime to take the lead into the break. The second half saw more intensity, with several yellow cards issued as both teams battled for control. Brecksville found the equalizer when Milos Crncevic scored off a long assist from Dom Dean, leveling the match at 2–2.
“This was a gritty, physical game against a tough opponent,” said Head Coach Brad Dean. “I’m proud of the way our guys came back in the second half and found a way to get level.”
The Bees will return home on September 30 to host Solon in their next conference matchup.
