September 28, 2022: Thomasville, NC 27360 East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) backers left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Golden Eagles battle the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A match, on Tuesday, October 4. East Davidson will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record.
With the loss, North Rowan drops to 1-11 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host West Davidson (Lexington, NC) to battle the Dragons in a Central Carolina 1A/2A match on Thursday, October 6. The Dragons come into the match with a record of 12-8.

East Davidson swept North Rowan in three sets 25-7, 25-13, and 25-7. Leading the Eagle attack were Lyndsay Reid with 17 kills, 8 aces, 11 digs, and 14 service points, Emma Anderson with 9 kills, 5 aces, and 13 service points, Reese English with 3 kills, 4 aces, and 11 service points, Kara Mahan with 30 assists, 6 digs, 4 aces, and 9 service points, and Lindsay Cook with 4 digs, 2 aces, and 6 service points. East, 14-3 and 7-1, will host Salisbury next Tuesday for their annual Dig Pink game.
