Virginia High School Volleyball - Essex crushed by Lancaster

The Lancaster Red Devils topped the visiting Essex Trojans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Red Devils now have a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westmoreland for a Northern Neck test on Monday, October 2. Lancaster will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-1.

The Trojans (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Middlesex (Saluda, VA). The Chargers enter the non-league test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Middlesex gained a win over King William (King William, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
