September 3, 2022: Columbus, NE 68601 The Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) softball routed the visiting Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE), 11-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Discoverers (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE). The Rockets go into the A District bout with a 1-10 record. In their last bout, Lincoln Northeast was routed by Kearney (Kearney, NE), 7-6, in a non-league bout.
The Bearcats now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln Northeast for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 3. Kearney will confront a Rockets squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE). The Rockets record now stands at 1-8.
