September 8, 2022: Columbus, NE 68601 In Thursday's league contest, the Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE) softball team overwhelmed the host Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE), by a margin of 11-0.
With the triumph, Lincoln East moves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE) to play the Links in a A District contest on Monday, September 12. The Links come into the contest with a record of 5-8. Lincoln High lost 13-2 in their recent league contest against Fremont (Fremont, NE)
In their next game, the Discoverers play the Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE) in a A District contest, on Tuesday, September 13. Columbus will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record.
