The North Davidson Black Knights volleyball squad (Lexington, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC)

The Spartans (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers go into the PAC Seven 4A/5A test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Randleman achieved victory over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 3-0, in a league test.

The Black Knights now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Tabor for a Piedmont Triad 5A/6A challenge on Monday, September 8. North Davidson will meet a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-9.
