The Pickens Blue Flame were victorious over the host Lexington Wildcats volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Blue Flame now have a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Berea for a AAAA Region 2 outing on Thursday, September 4. Pickens will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Greer (Greer, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Lexington drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Dorman (Roebuck, SC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a record of 5-2. Dorman won 3-1 in their recent league game against Riverside (Greer, SC)
