Pennsylvania High School Football - Northwest Area overwhelms Montgomery

September 30, 2022: Shickshinny, PA 18655

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) and the visiting Montgomery Red Raiders (Montgomery, PA), observed Northwest Area's football squad bounce Montgomery by a count of 55-0.

The Rangers now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Conemaugh Township for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 8. Northwest Area will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 56-8 non-league loss to Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA). The Indians record now stands at 5-1.

Coming up next, the Red Raiders encounter the Canton Warriors (Canton, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 7. Montgomery will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 51-13 league win over Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA).
