September 30, 2024: Independence, MO 64055 The Truman Patriots overwhelmed the visiting Ruskin Golden Eagles softball squad by a count of 20-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots meet the Chrisman Bears (Independence, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Truman will attempt to upgrade on its 8-19 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 5-16 record after their 11-0 league loss to Fort Osage (Independence, MO).
The Golden Eagles (0-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Belton (Belton, MO). The Pirates go into the Class 4 District 13 challenge with a 16-7 record. In their last challenge, Belton toppled Oak Grove (Oak Grove, MO), 8-1, in a non-league challenge.
