The Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, CO) softball routed the visiting Mountain Range Mustangs (Westminster, CO), 11-3 in Tuesday's league test.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Northglenn Norsemen (Northglenn, CO) in a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain test, on Thursday, October 2. Brighton will attempt to advance on its 11-6 season record. The Norsemen go into the test with a 8-10 record after their 15-0 league win over Boulder (Boulder, CO).

The Mustangs (6-12) will now prepare for their outing against Pomona (Arvada, CO). The Panthers come into the non-league outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Pomona beat Conifer (Conifer, CO), 12-11, in a league outing.
