Missouri High School Softball - Silex bounces Van-Far

The Silex Owls (Silex, MO) softball overwhelmed the visiting Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO), 9-0 in Tuesday's league test.

Next, the Owls meet the North Callaway Thunderbirds (Kingdom City, MO) in a Class 2 District 3 test, on Thursday, October 2. Silex will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the outing with a 16-7 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Fatima (Westphalia, MO).

With the loss, Van-Far moves to 2-4 on the season. The Indians host Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO) to clash with the Wildcats in a Eastern Missouri test on Wednesday, October 1. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 11-1. Montgomery County won 24-5 in their recent league test against Wellsville-Middletown (Wellsville, MO)
