The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the North Callaway Thunderbirds (Kingdom City, MO) and the visiting Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO), observed North Callaway's softball squad beat Van-Far by a score of 13-1.

With the triumph, North Callaway improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Russellville (Russellville, MO) to face the Indians in a non-league contest on Monday, September 8. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 2-3. Russellville lost 11-10 in their recent non-league contest against Camdenton (Camdenton, MO)

In their next game, the Indians battle the Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, MO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 6. Van-Far will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers go into the match with a 1-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Mark Twain (Center, MO).
