Virginia High School Volleyball - George C. Marshall tips Wakefield School
September 4, 2025: The Plains, VA 20198 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting George C. Marshall Statesmen volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Wakefield School Fighting Owls .
The Statesmen (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against McLean (McLean, VA). The Highlanders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, McLean was nudged by Oakton (Vienna, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Fighting Owls play the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Wakefield School will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Saxons go into the game with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA).
