Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) and the visiting Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA), observed Banks County's volleyball team top Stephens County by a count of 2-0.

The Leopards (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Greene County (Greensboro, GA). The Tigers enter the 1A Area 8 contest with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Greene County dropped by Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA), 2-0, in a league battle.
