September 5, 2023: Ashland, KY 41102 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) and the visiting Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), saw Blazer's soccer squad get by Boyd County by a margin of 1-0.
The Tomcats now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Fleming County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. Blazer will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Boyd County drops to 1-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Lafayette (Lexington, KY) to meet the Generals in a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. The Generals come into the test with a record of 4-3.
