September 5, 2023: Lemont, IL 60439 The Lemont Lemont HS volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Oak Forest Bengals to 0 in the Lemont HS league victory on Tuesday.
The Lemont HS now have a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln-Way West for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 6. Lemont will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-3.
The Bengals (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Red Wolves enter the South Suburban game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Thornton Fractional South gained a win over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
