September 5, 2024: Albemarle, NC 28001 The Union Academy Cardinals topped the host Albemarle Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Cardinals face the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 10. Union Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 4-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC).
The Bulldogs (0-5) will now prepare for their game against South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, South Davidson gained a win over Thomasville (Thomasville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
