September 5, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90025 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), observed University's volleyball team top Fairfax by a count of 3-0.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Westchester (Los Angeles, CA). The Comets enter the Western contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Westchester was knocked off by Venice (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Lions battle the Rancho Dominguez Lobos (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Fairfax will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Lobos enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Foshay (Los Angeles, CA).
