September 6, 2022: Douglasville, GA 30135 Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA), 2-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 10. Alexander will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Braves come into the match with a 9-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Callaway (Hogansville, GA).
With the loss, East Paulding drops to 9-10 on the campaign. The Raiders host Paulding County (Dallas, GA) to battle the Patriots in a 6A Area 5 match on Thursday, September 8. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 14-10. Paulding County won 2-0 in their recent league match against Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA)
