In Friday's league challenge, the host Flour Bluff Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans.

The Hornets (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Wildcats come into the 5A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 14-13 record. In their last challenge, Gregory-Portland beat Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.
