Maine High School Soccer - Morse nudges Oceanside
September 7, 2022: Rockland, ME 04841 Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Shipbuilders confront the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 8. Morse will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles enter the test with a 2-0 record after their 3-2 league win over Messalonskee (Oakland, ME).
With the loss, Oceanside drops to 2-2 on the season. The Mariners host Winslow (Winslow, ME) to encounter the Black Raiders in a Class B - North test on Tuesday, September 13. The Black Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-0.
