September 7, 2023: Fletcher, OK 73541 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Navajo Indians (Altus, OK) and the host Fletcher Wildcats (Fletcher, OK), witnessed Navajo's softball squad tip Fletcher by a count of 8-1.
The Indians now sport a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Elgin for a non-league match on Friday, September 8. Navajo will meet a Owls squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, OK). The Owls record now stands at 15-2.
With the loss, Fletcher moves to 23-8 on the season. The Wildcats host Apache (Apache, OK) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Thursday, September 7. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 9-10. Apache lost 6-0 in their recent non-league match against Cyril (Cyril, OK)
