Hydro-Eakly Bobcats (Hydro, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fletcher Wildcats (Fletcher, OK), 9-4 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 14-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blanchard for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. Hydro-Eakly will battle a Lions squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Ripley (Ripley, OK). The Lions record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Fletcher falls to 23-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Velma-Alma (Velma, OK) to battle the Comets in a Class A challenge on Monday, September 11. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 3-17.
