Oklahoma High School Softball - Central holds off Hydro-Eakly
September 7, 2023: Marlow, OK 73055 Central Bronchos (Marlow, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hydro-Eakly Bobcats (Hydro, OK), 4-2 in a league challenge.
The Bronchos now own a 18-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apache for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Central will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to Fletcher (Fletcher, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 9-11.
With the loss, Hydro-Eakly falls to 12-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Fletcher (Fletcher, OK) to battle the Wildcats in a Class A challenge on Friday, September 8. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 23-8. Fletcher won 11-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Apache (Apache, OK)
