Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now sport a 16-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Papillion-LaVista South for a A District challenge on Friday, September 9. Gretna will face a Titans squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Titans record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Omaha Central falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Omaha South (Omaha, NE) to face the Packers in a A District challenge on Monday, September 12.
