The Corinth Warriors volleyball team (Corinth, MS), went down 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS)

The Bears (15-4) will now prepare for their match against Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Commodores come into the non-league match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Lafayette achieved victory over Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS), 3-1, in a league match.

With the loss, Corinth drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Warriors host Tupelo (Tupelo, MS) to clash with the Golden Wave in a non-league match on Friday, September 9. The Golden Wave come into the match with a record of 1-9.
