The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Victory Baptist Academy Saints (Beaver, WV) and the host Matthews Christian Academy Colts (Matthews, NC), saw Victory Baptist Academy's volleyball squad beat Matthews Christian Academy by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Victory Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Saints travel to Oak Level Baptist Academy (Stokesdale, NC) to confront the Conquerors in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Conquerors enter the test with a record of 8-1.
