Georgia High School Softball - Forest Park loses to Lovejoy
September 9, 2023: Forest Park, GA 30297 The Lovejoy Wildcats softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Forest Park Panthers to 3 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Lovejoy improves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 1-8. Mt. Zion won 27-9 in their recent non-league game against Clarkston (Clarkston, GA)
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA) in a 6A Region 3 game, on Tuesday, September 12. Forest Park will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-9 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA).
