The Maize Eagles topped the visiting Derby Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Eagles face the Maize South Mavericks (Wichita, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I game, on Tuesday, September 9. Maize will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Mavericks come into the outing with a 12-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lee's Summit (Lee's Summit, MO).

With the loss, Derby drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host South (Salina, KS) to clash with the Cougars in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I bout on Tuesday, September 16.
