William Millick

    William Millick has been named player of the year. "Senior Will Millick has been selected as the Player of the Year for the Challis-Mackay RiverCats. He was the only senior on the team this season and he is the reason that the team exists! It was his dream to play High School Baseball, but Challis did not have a team. With lots of work, time, and effort, his dream became a reality as was born the RiverCats, a co-op team with Challis & Mackay. Will led the team on and off the field. He was a solid pitcher, shortstop, hitter, and Captain of the RiverCats. Off the field, his senior project included raising money for and constructing team dugouts at the home field within Challis City Park. He leaves behind a legacy of baseball for future years of kids in both Challis and Mackay! Getting to State this year was the icing on the cake and an experience for this young man he'll never forget! Thank you for dreaming! Thanks for leading this team! Thanks for making America's past-time our communities' past-time! Proud of you!"
