Dylan Creech has been named player of the year. "Dylan Creech finished his career at Wolfe County leading his team in most statistical categories and also broke the state record for most RBIs and base on balls in a career. In addition, he already holds the state record for most RBIs in a season, and a game, most base hits in a game, and once hit home runs in six consecutive at-bats; another state (and national- tying) record. For good measure, he was once walked in ten straight plate appearances, and, as a pitcher, once struck out 5 batters in one inning. Dylan has signed with Wabash College in Indiana to further his education and baseball career. Congratulations, Dylan, on a GREAT career at Wolfe County!"
